Matt Bateman

Consultant in historic wood. Conservation joiner and wood carver.

Matt is a craftsman with a comprehensive knowledge of historic woodwork and traditional techniques. He has run his own workshop for over a decade, working on classic hand carving and fine joinery projects, through to consulting on sites of great historic significance.

Some of his past projects include New Court, Trinity College, Cambridge; Chichester Cathedral and the completion of the solo hand-crafting of a monumental, ornately carved reredos which he reinstated in St. John the Evangelist Church, London.

Greg Meeson

Digital specialist for historic buildings. 3D modelling, 3D scanning and integration with traditional crafts.

Greg is a digital artist and director of Meeson Conservation, where he provides innovative digital services to transform the restoration and conservation of historic buildings.

His extensive skills in 3D modelling have been developed over more than 15 years of running his own 3D design studio where has created everything from advertising campaigns for Virgin Media to museum installations for Mercedes-Benz.

Greg has exhibited his work globally, including the museum exhibition ‘Le Rêve D’être Artiste’ at the Palais de Beaux Arts in Lille, alongside works by Manet, Gaugin, Picasso, and Warhol.
