The Georgian Group Architecture Awards 2023
The excellent work of the Stowe House Preservation Trust has been recognised in the Georgian Group in their 2023 Architecture Awards, with Stowe house winning the Restoration Of A Georgian Country House award.
Refinery is proud to have contributed to the restoration of two of the State Rooms that have been identified by the Georgian Group as establishing new standards in restoration.

Refinery wins Top Award for Innovation in Digital Technology.
We’re very pleased to report that Refinery has won the Gold Award for Innovation in Digital Technology at the NOVO Awards. The awards celebrate innovation in businesses in the South-East. We were entered into the Digital Technology category for our innovative integration of digital technologies into the traditional conservation of historic woodwork.
State Drawing Room highly commended at Architectural Awards.
The restoration of the State Drawing Room at Stowe House has recieved praise at the annual architecture awards of the Georgian Group.
The room, featuring our reinstatement of it’s Vincenzo Valdrè designed fire surround, has been selected as 'highly commended’ in the ‘Restoration of a Georgian Structure or Interior’ category.
